In accordance with the Mayor’s Executive Directive No. 6 / Support for the Film Industry, LADOT Transit Facilities accommodates industry production requests to utilize its facilities on a space available basis and gratis.
LADOT Transit Facilities currently operates and maintain five (5) Metrolink Stations located in the San Fernando Valley. Facilities that are not at capacity are available for limited crew parking and catering. Due to wear and tear of the lots, requests for base camps will not be accepted.
Requests should be submitted at least seven (7) days in advance. Requests made less than seven days in advance will be considered but less likely to be approved.
Production companies understand that approval to use a LADOT Transit lot is on a space available basis and gratis. The lot is not being leased nor reserved and at no time is any Metrolink passenger to be denied entry into the lot.
As space availability fluctuates month to month as well as daily, locations scouts should visit the lot on the weekday and approximate time they would be using the lot to confirm space availability.
As Metrolink passenger demand will always take priority, requests that could lead to the lot filling to capacity will not be considered.
All facilities are open lots on weekends and neither supported nor maintained by LADOT Transit, however requests must be submitted and approval received prior to use.

As the Hollywood Bowl operates shuttles out of the lot during the summer season, crew parking requests cannot be accommodated on Hollywood Bowl event nights.

Upon approval, proof of Film LA permit or draft permit evidencing that insurance is in place must be received prior to the use of the lot.
Prior to use of the lot, Production companies understand and agree to the following:
Due to parking demand, the opportunity to film at LADOT Transit facilities is limited and considered on a case by case basis.
Waiver of damages: Upon approval to use the Station Lot, production company assumes all risk of injury, loss or damage which may result from any defective conditions of the premises or which may otherwise arise by reason of the use of City property and releases and discharges the City of Los Angeles from any claims.
Indemnification: Upon approval to use the Station Lot, production company agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Los Angeles, its officers, agencies and employees from any and all loss or liability for bodily injury, death or property damage to either party hereto or to third parties which may arise from the exercise of this approval by the City of Los Angeles or its officers, agents, employees, contractors, licensees or invitees.
